So....what did you think....overhyped....overcriticised...?
I loved it. I will grant that it was a bit too anti-American-military. That always galls me a bit. However, I am one of those people who goes to the cinema for some entertainment about which I don't have to think too much. It's just a chance to unwind and enjoy an interesting story and special effects, if any.
To that end, it was a great success. I loved the 3-D and was, to my pleasant surprise, not given to motion sickness. Honestly, the 3D effects were not the best I have ever seen, but enjoyable nonetheless. I loved the story line.
For those who say it was a movie where non-violence trumped military might, I beg to differ. The victors did use force.
I will give it 7 out of 10.
